This range was created and designed by Mourad and Arlette Boutros. Its weights are suitable for body texts, headlines and sub-headings. The design is based on traditional bamboo calligraphy respecting Arabic calligraphic and cultural rules with the addition of slanting vertical lines and floating joining points mirror the real calligraphic style.
This range achieves a harmonious look when used alongside a Latin equivalent typeface such as Garamond, Palatino and Times Roman as well as Helvetica, Futura and Frutiger.
